NEC Display Solutions Europe GmbH

Volgens een overeenkomst tussen NEC Corporation, NEC Viewtechnology, Ltd. en NEC Display Solutions, Ltd. worden per 1 april 2007 de onderdelen van NEC Display Solutions (displaymonitoren) en NEC Viewtechnology (projectors) en de plasma-activiteiten in een nieuwe onderneming ondergebracht. Het nieuwe bedrijf – een 100% dochtermaatschappij van NEC Corporation – is actief onder de naam NEC Display Solutions, Ltd. en het hoofdkantoor is gevestigd in Tokyo, Japan. De directeur van het nieuwe bedrijf is Yoshiaki Tsuda.

Het Europese hoofdkantoor van NEC Display Solutions Europe GmbH is gevestigd in München, Duitsland, en is verantwoordelijk voor alle zakelijke activiteiten in EMEA, verdeeld in vier verkoopregio’s Noord-Europa, West- en Zuid-Europa, Centraal Europa, Oost en Zuidoost-Europa met het Midden-Oosten/Afrika. NEC Display Solutions profiteert van de technologische knowhow en de technologieën van NEC Corporation en is met eigen onderzoek en ontwikkeling een van 's werelds meest vooraanstaande fabrikanten net de breedste productreeks display-oplossingen op de markt. Het productportfolio op het gebied van display-oplossingen loopt van instapmodellen tot professionele en gespecialiseerde LCD -monitoren via grootformaat Public Displays voor Digital en Retail Signage (LCD - en plasmatechnologie) tot plasmamonitoren voor thuisbioscooptoepassingen. De reeks projectors biedt producten voor alle behoeften, van draagbare tot zakelijke projectors tot producten voor permanente werking zoals PoS-toepassingen en digitale bioscoopprojectors.
